Corva’s scope included complete interior design and fitout for the new hospitality space, project coordination and management, and a defit of the existing space. We also installed new flooring, ceiling, lighting, and all custom joinery that made up the cafe space.
Preserving Brand Identity While Elevating the Space
We worked closely with the client to honour Vivace Espresso’s brand values through subtle design, natural textures, and warm tones that reflect the cafe’s long-standing presence in Christchurch’s hospitality scene.
The layout was reconfigured for optimised flow, making the space more efficient for staff during peak times and more comfortable for customers dining in or grabbing takeaway.
Bespoke Joinery & Design Features
The custom joinery was designed and built by Corva to maximise functionality while keeping it to the design vision. The flooring materials and lighting schemes help zone the space, defining customer areas while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic.
