The Brief
Food Stuffs required updates to their office to better align the space with how their team operates on a daily basis. The goal was to refit parts of the existing layout to improve usability, while also addressing noise levels and overall workspace performance.Initially engaged as a subcontractor, Corva’s role evolved over time into working directly with the client. This shift allowed for a clearer understanding of requirements and opened the opportunity to refine the approach, particularly around cost efficiency and practical outcomes.
Our Approach
As the project progressed, Corva worked closely with the Food Stuffs team to identify where improvements would have the most impact. Rather than applying a broad redesign, the focus was on making targeted upgrades that enhanced the space without unnecessary complexity.We created new internal partitions and aluminium glazing to better define work areas, while also installing acoustic panels and ceiling treatments in key locations. These changes helped reduce noise transfer and improve day-to-day working conditions.
Value engineering played an important role throughout the process, with our team identifying opportunities to reduce costs while still achieving a high-quality result.
