The Brief

Nelson Orthodontics had an established clinic in central Nelson, but continued growth in demand led to the need for a second location. A new site was secured in Richmond to better serve patients across the wider area and reduce travel time.

The new clinic required a practical layout that could support treatment rooms, staff areas, and patient flow, while maintaining a clean and professional environment suited to a medical setting.

Our Approach

Working alongside the project team, Corva focused on delivering the internal structure of the space through framing, linings, and partition systems. This included constructing wall systems and installing aluminium glazing to define treatment and support areas throughout the clinic.

Attention was given to ensuring the layout allowed for clear separation between spaces while maintaining a consistent and functional flow. Door systems, including sliding and cavity sliders, were integrated to maximise usability within the available footprint.

The Result

The completed clinic provides Nelson Orthodontics with a well-organised and accessible second location, supporting both staff workflow and patient experience. The layout allows for efficient use of space while maintaining the professional standard expected in a healthcare environment.
