The Brief
The project involved the development of a new and upgraded airport terminal designed to support future growth and improve passenger experience. As part of a wider construction programme, multiple tenancy spaces within the terminal required fitout works aligned with the overall architectural design.These included airline lounges and hospitality areas, each requiring a consistent level of finish while meeting specific functional requirements.
Our Approach
Working alongside the main contractor and wider project team, Corva delivered interior fitout works across several areas of the terminal. This included the installation of glazed aluminium partitions, wall linings, and suspended ceilings within spaces such as the Koru Lounge, Brewery Lounge, and café tenancies.In addition to internal works, Corva assembled the external airside soffit canopy, a bespoke architectural feature designed specifically for the terminal. This required careful coordination and precision to ensure it aligned with the overall design intent.
Given the scale and complexity of the project, coordination across multiple zones and stages was essential to ensure consistent quality and timely delivery.
The Result
The completed terminal provides a modern and efficient environment for passengers, with well-defined spaces for waiting, dining, and airline lounges. The interior fitouts contribute to a cohesive and functional passenger experience, while supporting the operational needs of the airport.
