Corva delivered the interior fitout for Matthews Eyewear’s new retail store in Richmond, creating a space tailored to both product display and customer interaction.

The Brief

Matthews Eyewear was establishing themselves in a new location and required a retail space that aligned with their brand and supported how they operate. The fitout needed to accommodate display areas, customer flow, and patient functionality within the available footprint.

The project also required coordination with council requirements and services such as plumbing, ensuring everything was in place for the store to open as planned.

Our Approach

Corva worked from the provided design and took responsibility for managing the fitout through to completion. This included coordinating trades, overseeing site progress, and ensuring all elements were delivered in line with programme requirements.

New walls and partitions were installed to define the retail layout Finishing works, including plastering, painting, and installation of display alcoves, were completed to create a clean and functional retail environment.

Council inspections and compliance requirements were also managed as part of the process, allowing the client to focus on preparing for opening.

The Result

The completed store provides Matthews Eyewear with a well-organised and practical retail environment that supports both product presentation and customer experience. The layout allows for clear movement through the space, while the finishes create a clean and professional setting.

Delivered on time and within budget, the project enabled the team to move into their new location and begin operating as planned.
